About Us

We are a well-established entertainment centre in Auckland, operating AMF 12 full length  bowling lanes, a variety of arcade games, bumper cars and hosting regular music and entertainment events. We are seeking a dependable and multi-skilled Entertainment Centre Technician to support the ongoing technical operations and maintenance across our venue.

About the Role

This is a hands-on technical and maintenance role suited to a practical individual with strong problem-solving abilities. Full training will be provided for our AMF bowling systems.

Key responsibilities include:

Routine maintenance and troubleshooting of AMF bowling lanes and pinsetters

Repair and servicing of arcade machines and entertainment equipment

Set-up, testing and operation of audio systems for music nights and events

General venue maintenance, including mechanical, electrical and IT-related tasks

Monitoring equipment for safety, performance and reliability

Liaising with external suppliers for parts, upgrades and specialised servicing

Occasional support during weekend or evening events as required


Skills & Experience We Are Seeking

We are not specifically seeking a bowling technician. We welcome applicants with a strong general technical background.

Ideal skills include:

Solid mechanical and electrical troubleshooting ability

Experience with arcade machines, AV systems, or similar equipment (advantageous but not essential)

Competency in audio systems (mixers, amplifiers, speakers, microphones)

Practical hands-on approach with good diagnostic skills

Basic IT knowledge (networking, wiring, software updates)

Ability to manage tasks independently and prioritise effectively

Good communication and time-management skills


Preferred Backgrounds May Include:

Engineering technician (mechanical or electrical)

Appliance repair technician

AV technician or sound technician

Arcade/entertainment technician

Auto electrician

General maintenance/handyperson with technical skills
