Amazing opportunity for a trainee automatic door technician
Our Mangere client is seeking a motivated reliable person to train for their automatic door technician role.
This is a fulltime permanent position and we are looking for someone who is comfortable using a range of tools, and who is interested in mechanical and electronic work, as well as being physically fit and capable.
There is huge scope for advancement here- our client wants to train the successful candidate to be a service technician, with full capability of installing and maintaining automatic doors on a range of worksites. Eventually this role would involve use of a company vehicle and possible stay-away roles installing doors in other parts of NZ.
8am - 4.30pm Monday to Friday some opportunity for Overtime, at overtime rates.
You need
- aptitude or experience in mechanical, electronics and general labour
- your own transport and a license
- interest in a long term training opportunity leading to a career
- reliability and honesty, and ability to show up to work every day
- fit and physically able to move large door components
The role would initially be factory based (Mangere) while you learned how to build and assemble sensor doors, and then would progress to work onsite learning from experienced technicians.
Start rate is $27/hr
Pre employment police and drug/alcohol checks will be undertaken and you need to be able to provide 2 work references .
