Our client is looking for two Joiners to be part of their team in Otago.

You will be responsible for manufacturing and installing high-quality bespoke joinery for kitchens, laundries, bathrooms, and other custom projects. The role includes both workshop production and onsite installation.
This is a permanent, full-time role with a guaranteed minimum of 44 hours per week. Hours of work are between 8:00am to 5:00pm Monday to Friday, with weekend work as required. Pay rate is between $30 to $40 per hour, dependent on experience.
Key Responsibilities

Building bespoke cabinetry and joinery items from plans and specifications

Installing kitchens, laundries, bathrooms, and other custom joinery items

Operating woodworking machinery and hand tools safely and efficiently

Reading and interpreting technical drawings and site plans

Performing precise adjustments and finishes onsite

Maintaining high standards of finish and quality control

Collaborating with clients, builders, and the production team to meet project timelines

Upholding health & safety standards and ensuring quality outcomes

Recording installation progress and completing project documentation

Contributing to a tidy, safe, and well-organised workshop environment

Building and operating in workshop production when not onsite
- Cuts, shapes and fits timber parts in workshop to form structures and fittings, ready for installation
What We're Looking For
- At least two years of proven experience in joinery or cabinetry manufacturing/installation
- Trade qualification in carpentry, joinery, or cabinetmaking (preferred but not mandatory)
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality craftsmanship
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills
- Physically fit and confident with manual handling
- Reliable, self-motivated, and team-oriented
