Sales Assistant

We are looking for a sales assistant to work in our grocery, in Matamata. This is a full time (min 30h/w) opportunity.

The applicant needs to perform the following tasks:

  Receiving and unloading incoming goods to the store

 Stacking and displaying goods for sale and organising shelfs, reporting damaged and expired goods

 Serving customers, informing them about the deals and sales

Assisting with the ongoing management of stock

Accepting payments from customers

The applicant

·       must be able to heavy lift (up to 20 kg)

·       must be able to work on weekends, the store is open 7 days, 8.30 am-6 pm

·       A level 1 qualification/compulsory secondary education or working experience in a similar position

·       May be required to work evenings to complete tasks
