We, Futuregen Construction Ltd, are looking for an experienced plumber to install, maintainand repair sanitation units, water and gas supply lines, heating systems, and associatedfixtures and appliances in residential, commercial, and industrial structures in various construction projects in Auckland, New Zealand. 

Job Details:

∙ Job location/region: Auckland, New Zealand 

∙ Number of positions for this job: 1 

∙ Employment type: Permanent 

∙ Days required: 6 days 

∙ Hours per week: minimum of 30 hours a week is guaranteed, maximumof 40 hours per week 

∙ Hourly rate: $31 – 38.00 depends on the experiences and level

Job description: 

● Reading and interpreting blueprints to assess or plan plumbing installations and layouts.

● Installing, maintaining and repairing plumbing systems and fixtures.

● Fitting and repairing various household appliances. 

● Cutting, welding and assembling pipes, tubes, fittings, and fixtures.

● Inspecting and testing plumbing systems for safety, functionality, and code compliance. ● Handling customer queries and responding to call outs. 

● Troubleshooting and resolving problems. 

Job pre-requisites: 

● Certificate in plumber Level 4 OR above qualification, or proven experience as relevant at least 2 years is required 

● Good working knowledge of water supply and heating systems.

● Proficiency in reading blueprints and using plumbing tools.

● Strong critical thinking and troubleshooting skills. 

● Good listening and communication skills. 

● Good interpersonal skills and patience. 

● Physical dexterity.
