Pay: $25.00 to $30.00 per hour

We are a busy restaurant in Wellington City Centre and we are now hiring 2 Fast Food Cooks.

Hours: 40 hours per week (Minimum 30 hours guaranteed) 

Payrate $25.00 to $30.00 per hour

Job duties of the position offered –

- Taking and serving food and beverage orders, and receiving payment from customers

- Preparing and cooking food such as entrees, sides and fast food dishes on the menu

- Washing, cutting, measuring and mixing foods for cooking

- Operating cooking equipment such as grills, microwaves and deep-fat fryers

- Cleaning food preparation areas, cooking surfaces and utensils

- Ordering and taking delivery of fast food ingredients

- May arrange delivery of prepared food and beverages

 

Requirements of the position offered -

- No specific qualification or certificate is required

- Relevant work experience is preferred but not a compulsory

- Be available to work on weekends and public holidays as per the roster

- Flexibility to work within a 7-Days a week operation including split shifts

- Be able to work in a fast-paced environment with good communication skills and team spirit

- Able to work till late evenings

- Can pass drug test and have a clean police record
