We specialise in fitting and replacing motor vehicle parts and accessories, diagnosing faults, and maintaining vehicles in excellent condition.
Proudly locally owned and operated for over 18 years, we take pride in looking after both our community and our team. Our workshop continues to invest in ongoing training to ensure our technicians stay up to date with the latest automotive technologies entering the New Zealand market. Due to continued demand and business growth, we are seeking two experienced Automotive Technicians to join our workshop.
Role Overview
This role is ideal for technicians looking to further develop their diagnostic abilities, take on varied and interesting tasks, and grow within a supportive environment. You will work across a wide range of brands and handle a mixture of repairs, diagnostics, servicing, and inspection work.
Key Responsibilities

Carry out mechanical repairs, maintenance, and servicing on a variety of vehicles

Perform diagnostic procedures, including electrical and electronic fault finding

Fit and install mechanical and electrical components as required

Conduct WOF inspections (if holding a valid WOF authority)

Maintain high workshop safety and housekeeping standards

Complete accurate job records and reports

Work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same
Skills & Experience Required
Applicants are expected to have:

Minimum 2 years’ experience in an automotive workshop environment

Experience working across multiple vehicle brands
-
Strong diagnostic and problem-solving abilities
-
Good communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team

A positive, proactive attitude and commitment to quality workmanship
The following would be an advantage (but are not essential):

Experience working with European vehicle brands

A current WOF Inspector authority (training can be provided to suitable applicants)
