This is an exciting opportunity for an established Sales Commission Agent to add a profitable new agency to their portfolio. Representing high-quality international kitchenware, housewares, giftware, and design brands, you’ll work with an established importer and distributor that has built strong relationships with leading retailers across New Zealand. You’ll be calling on both existing and potential customers, growing sales through your professional service, market insight, and regular call cycles.
Role description:
You’ll represent a collection of international brands, managing relationships with retail and trade customers across your territory. This self-employed position suits an agent already working in complementary product categories who’s looking to expand their offering and income stream.
Responsibilities will include:
- Visiting existing and potential customers within your territory
- Presenting new ranges and managing product orders
- Maintaining regular communication and call cycles
- Growing sales through strong product knowledge and rapport
- Representing the brands professionally at all times
This role will suit someone with all or some of the following background / experience / qualities:
- Currently operating as a Sales Commission Agent
- Experience in kitchenware, homewares, giftware, or design products
- Well-organised with strong sales discipline and follow-up
- Professional presentation and communication skills
- A proactive, self-motivated approach to growing sales
