We are looking for an experienced Heavy Diesel Technician

Permanent Full Time role 

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Heavy Diesel technician to join our team. 

The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining heavy-duty diesel vehicles and equipment, including trucks and industrial engines.

This role requires expertise in diesel engines, hydraulics, electrical systems and preventative maintenance to ensure optimal performance and safety. 

About you 

  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a heavy diesel mechanic, with proven excellence in results 
  • A strong commitment to health and safety in the workplace, with knowledge of health and safety legislation 
  • Strong understanding of diesel engines, hydraulic systems and electrical troubleshooting 
  • Experience with diagnostic software and tools for heavy vehicles 
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics 
  • Welding and fabricating experience preferred 
  • Strong problem-solving and attention to detail 
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team 
  • Current driver's licence
