About the Role: 
Due to continued growth and expansion, we have an opportunity for an experienced and qualified HVAC and Refrigeration Technician in Auckland. This role comes with the opportunity to expand your knowledge and skill set across a range of equipment and systems. Our client S&D Air Solutions Limited,  in Auckland, is seeking experienced HVAC technicians to join thier team. This is a full-time position, and you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing Commercial and Residential HVAC Systems. 

What you'll be doing 

  • Signing on & off to the Manager/ Coordinator daily and on job completion. All job 
    numbers, service dockets and time sheets submitted to Manager / Co Ordinator in a 
    timely manner.   
  • Install, Service, and maintain all types of Air conditioning and refrigeration units and 
    Ventilation systems.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with HVAC equipment
  • Perform preventative maintenance on systems to ensure optimal performance.
  • Provide excellent customer service and communicate technical information effectively.
  • Maintaining accurate records and documentation of all work performed.
  • Comply with all Health and Safety regulations and procedures.
  • Coordination with other service team members for labour were included on the roster. 
    Advise Service Manager / Coordinator of arrangements.  
  • Testing, balancing, commissioning and hand over the HVAC projects. 
  • Carry out any HVAC equipment break down and take necessary action to resolve.
  • Arrangement and/or purchasing of equipment for new installation works, in conjunction with your Manager / Coordinator. 
  • Maintain all necessary licensing and certification as required by the company. 


What we are looking for  

  • Formal Qualification in HVAC /Airconditioning and Refrigeration  OR
    Minimum 4 Years of work experience as iin relevant field 
  • Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills to quickly identify and resolve issues 
    Excellent attention to detail and ability to work at a high standard of quality workmanship
  • Demonstrate excellent fault-finding and problem-solving abilities
  • The ability to work efficiently and unsupervised, while still being a reliable team player
  • Possess strong communication skills
  • Have a sound understanding of Health and Safety best practices
  • Physically fit and hold a full NZ driver's license (or equivalent)

There are 3 permanent roles available.

These positions are based in Auckland with a Minimum 35 hours Maximum 40 Hours per Week working hours per week . The hourly rate for these roles will range between $30.00 to $35.00 per hour, depending on the individual's skills and experience. If required need to be work on weekends.
