Key Responsibilities

• Prepare surfaces by sanding, scraping, water-blasting, and filing cracks or holes

• Apply primers, sealers, undercoats, varnishes, and finishing coats

• Mix and match paint colours as required

• Perform interior and exterior painting for residential and commercial buildings

• Operate painting tools and equipment safely and responsibly

• Erect and work from ladders, scaffolding, and mobile platforms

• Follow health and safety procedures at all times

• Maintain a clean and tidy work environment

• Assist with any other painting-related duties as required

Skills and Experience Required

• At least 1-2 years of relevant experience as a painter 

• Knowledge of painting techniques, surface preparation, and paint application

• Ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions

• Good attention to detail and commitment to high-quality workmanship

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Strong work ethic, punctuality, and reliability

Pay Range

The wage for this role is $30 to $35 per hour, depending on skills and experience.
