Fiona Thai Massage is looking for experienced Junior Thai Massage Therapists to join the team.

Requirements 

The successful applicants must have one of the following requirements.

• At least 1 year of experience working in an authentic Thai Massage business, OR

• A related qualification (at NZ Register Certificate level 4 or higher, overseas qualifications must be comparable to the standard of the New Zealand qualification), OR

• The National Skill Standard Testing Level 1 (Traditional Thai Massage) from Thailand, OR

• Any skill standard assessment certificate as a Thai massage practitioner.

Job Descriptions

  • Massaging the body’s soft tissues, including muscles, tendons, and ligaments, using traditional Thai techniques to support healing.

  • Applying a variety of Thai massage methods to enhance sports performance and prevent injuries.

  • Offering treatments that promote relaxation, improve circulation, and relieve muscle tension through Thai massage techniques.

  • Evaluating and addressing specific soft tissue issues and providing rehabilitation advice based on Thai massage practices.

  • Incorporating other techniques such as acupressure, passive stretching, and the use of herbal compresses or essential oils to aid in recovery.

  • Assessing the client’s physical condition and medical history, recommending stretching exercises, and guiding relaxation techniques within the framework of Thai massage.

Other detail 

• This is a full-time and permanent position.

•Wage payment ranges from $27 to $30 per hour, depending on your skills and experience, and you will be paid weekly.

• Holiday pay and sick leave will be paid according to the law.

• You will be working at 96 Lincoln Road, Henderson, Auckland

• You will work according to a roaster 5 - 6 days each week with a guarantee of 30 hours (maximum of 48 hours per week)
