Responsibilities:
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical documents to determine materials requirements and task sequences.
• Fabricate metal structures and components to exact specifications.
Measure and mark out, cut, flame cutting torches and bending metal using tools.
• Operate welding equipment and hand/power tools.
• Measure, cut, and assemble metal components using various fabrication techniques.
• Assemble, fabricate, install, bolt, rivet and repair components and systems according to specifications.
• Preparing work materials by clamping and cutting.
• Grinding, cleaning, filling, chiselling and applying chemical solutions for finishing products. • Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
• Follow safety procedures and company protocols.
Requirements:
• At least 2 years relevant experience or relevant Level 4 qualification.
• Strong knowledge of metal types and fabrication techniques.
• Strong attention to detail and safety awareness.
• Physically fit
• Must pass a pre-employment drug test
