Concreter

Key Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret plans or drawings.

• Prepare boxing (formwork), using wire mesh to reinforce the concrete.

• Determine quantity and type of concrete and other materials required.

• Weigh and mix concrete materials (gravel, sand, cement and water). Prepare site by clearing and leveling the area.

• Pour, spread, compact, level, smooth and polish concrete.

• Moulding expansion joints and edges

• Install items such as anchor bolts into concrete, and reinforcements.

• Complete surface finishing to reach the intended texture and aesthetic. Applying waterproofing and sealant to protect the concrete work.

• Monitoring the material to ensure it hardens to a durable finish.

Requirements:

• At least 2 years relevant experience or relevant level 4 qualification

• Previous experience in the construction/civil industry

• Physically fit and able to work in all weather conditions

• Health & Safety Conscious

On Offer:

• Full Time, Weekly Pay

• Monday to Friday, occasional weekend work.

• Hours: Min 30 hours

• Pay: $28 - $30 depending on experience

• P.P.E provided
