We are seeking an experienced and innovative Creative Director to develop advertising campaigns and strategies to assist in driving sales. Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Marketing & Advertising

·         Support the development of digital strategies to grow consumer awareness, engagement, and increase bookings.

·         Stay up to date with market trends and customer insights to drive brand positioning and awareness.

·         Conduct market research to identify emerging trends and the competitive landscape.

·         Interpret and predict current and future consumer trends.

·         Monitor and analyse marketing performance metrics, adjusting strategies to optimise engagement and achieve business goals. 

Content Creation & Design

·         Create compelling, on-brand content - graphics, video clips, imagery - for websites and social platforms.

·         Capture high quality photography for website content.

·         Assist in designing and producing a range of print materials - including brochures, posters, and signage - using tools like Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, and Canva, ensuring all assets are brand-aligned and print-ready.

·         Refresh and repurpose existing assets and create new ones that reflect evolving brand direction.

·         Design email newsletters, web banners, digital ads, and promotional materials.

·         Embed key brand messaging and stories across all marketing initiatives.

Website, socials and eCommerce

·         Oversee SEO, improving visibility, organic performance and paid digital advertising efforts.

·         Establish new social media platforms while maintaining and growing existing ones.

Collaboration & Communication

·         Build and maintain relationships with key industry stakeholders and partners

·         Implement B2B email marketing campaigns to enhance stakeholder engagement and retention.

·         Work closely with operations, sales, and systems teams to align marketing with business needs.

·         Identify partnership and collaboration opportunities within the Queenstown tourism industry.

·         Lead internal communications to ensure the company stays informed about ongoing marketing initiatives.

 
What We’re Looking For:

·         Hands-on experience in SEO, advertising, social media and content creation.

·         Strong branding expertise with the ability to create and implement a unified marketing vision.

·         Strong understanding of marketing principles and strategies, preferably within tourism or adventure sports.

·         Proficiency in marketing software and tools, including CRM systems and analytics platforms. 

·         Degree in creative field.

·         5+ year’s experience in the creative industry. (Content Creation/Photography/Marketing/Design)

·         Minimum 1+ year’s experience in social media marketing.

·         Execute projects based on company’s design briefs.

·         A creative mindset with a passion for storytelling and visual identity.

·         Excellent project management skills and the ability to juggle multiple campaigns simultaneously.

·         A proactive, adaptable, and results-driven approach.

·         Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 

·         Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.
