Sandhu NZTransport Limited seeks two Fleet Managers to manage separate driver teams under the Road Transport Manager. These roles involve scheduling, compliance, fleet maintenance, and staff supervision to ensure efficient and safe transport operations.

Position Title: Fleet Manager
Number of Positions: 2
Location: Auckland
Pay Rate: $30 – $42 per hour
Hours of Work: 30 – 40 hours per week

Key Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of experience OR Level 4 qualification.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage daily operations of assigned driver teams and fleet vehicles
  • Plan and implement transport schedules for goods delivery
  • Monitor driver performance and ensure adherence to fatigue management rules
  • Ensure compliance with NZTA regulations and health & safety standards
  • Oversee vehicle maintenance schedules and coordinate repairs
  • Maintain accurate operational records and prepare reports for management
  • Liaise with clients to ensure service quality and resolve issues promptly
  • Implement efficiency improvements and cost-control measures
  • Train and mentor drivers on company policies and safety procedures
  • Support Road Transport Manager in strategic planning and operational execution
