Phoenix Joinery Ltd is located in Auckland. We are specializing in designing kitchen space, producing customise-made kitchen cabinet, and installing Bench Tops.

 

We now need three Joiners in order to meet our need for expansion. This is a full time position, with 30 guaranteed hours of work every week, but normally we should have more than 40 hours workload for you.

 

The tasks this role include:

·       Review and interpret architectural drawings, plans, and specifications to determine required materials, dimensions, and installation methods.

·       Select, order, and prepare timbers, boards, and other materials in accordance with project requirements.

·       Prepare layouts, measure dimensions, and mark materials for cutting and assembly.

·       Cut, shape, and machine timber and other materials using appropriate tools and equipment.

·       Assemble, join, and nail cut components to form cabinetry, fittings, frames, or other joinery structures.

·       Construct and erect framework, roof framing, sub-flooring, and floorboards, ensuring structures are level, aligned, and accurate.

·       Install fascia panels, roof sheathing, exterior wall cladding, window frames, and door frames as required.

·       Assemble prepared wooden components into finished structures or fittings ready for installation.

·       Form and cut accurate wood joints, including mortise-and-tenon, dovetail, and other joinery methods.

·       Ensure all completed work meets quality, safety, and structural standards.

 

Requirement for this role 

·       At least 2 years of work experience in construction or manufacturing

·       A level 4 qualification in construction or manufacturing, or Bachelor Degree in any major can replace the work experience requirement

·       Be puncture and responsible

·       Be hardworking and you will earn in proportion to your diligence

·      Be able to work both as a team and independently
