Machine Operator (Excavator, Loader & Dozer)

Lowie Recruitment is seeking an experienced Machine Operator (Excavator, Loader & Dozer) to join a busy quarry operation in Wainui, Silverdale.

With a Stage 2 expansion underway, this is an exciting opportunity to be part of a growing site supplying premium aggregates to the Northland and Auckland regions.

Some duties you may be required to do:

• Operate excavators, front-end loaders and bulldozers
• Stockpiling and loading materials
• Assisting with site development as part of the Stage 2 expansion
• Routine maintenance checks and reporting plant condition
• Achieve daily production targets
  
  

The ideal candidate will have the following skills:

• Relevant tickets and licences (WTR, Class 2+ preferred)
• Proven experience in quarry or civil earthworks operations
• Practical knowledge of excavation and bulk earthmoving equipment
• Strong safety focus and understanding of quarry procedures
• Reliability, good communication skills and a proactive attitude
