Wash Plant Supervisor (Aggregates & Quarry)

Lowie Recruitment is seeking an experienced Wash Plant Supervisor to join a growing quarry operation in Wainui, Silverdale.

This hands-on leadership position is responsible for driving wash plant production through a significant Stage 2 expansion while maintaining high standards of safety, reliability and environmental compliance.

Some duties you may be required to do:

• Oversee day-to-day operation of the wash plant and equipment
• Operate machinery including excavators, loaders and bulldozers
• Monitor output quality and perform maintenance checks
• Maintaining accurate production and maintenance records
• Upholding strict health, safety and environmental standards on site
  
  

The ideal candidate will have the following skills:

• WTR and Class 2 or higher licence preferred
• Proven experience in aggregate or quarry operations (ideally in a wash plant or processing environment)
• Prior experience operating and maintaining wash or screening plants
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability
• Experience with heavy machinery (excavators, loaders, dozers)
• Leadership, health and safety and communication skills
