Floor & Wall Tiler

Overall Objective

To perform high-quality tile installation on floors, walls, and other surfaces in residential,
commercial, or industrial settings, ensuring a durable and visually appealing finish in line with
project specifications and safety standards. 

• Minimum 30 hours per week guaranteed
• Hours: Monday to Friday, Between 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM
• May require travel within the Waikato region

Requirements:

• Must be physically fit.
• Must pass pre-employment drug test and have no criminal record
• Must provide a CV.
• Must have a driver licence
• Proven experience in floor and wall tiling

Overall Responsibilities:

• Accurately measure, cut, and lay tiles in accordance with design plans and customer
  specifications.
• Prepare surfaces by cleaning, leveling, and waterproofing as needed.
• Mix and apply adhesives and grout to secure tiles and create a finished surface.
• Inspect and repair existing tiling work when necessary.
• Maintain tools and work areas in a clean, safe, and organized condition.
• Follow site safety protocols and building codes.
• Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and clients. 

Supervisory Responsibilities:

• This position may involve supervising apprentice tilers or assistants on site.
• Provide guidance and ensure work quality and safety compliance among junior team
  members (if applicable).
