Position Overview:

As TBB Mortgage continues to grow its business, we are seeking a full-time Business Development (BD) Specialist to support this expansion. The successful candidate will identify new business opportunities, develop client relationships, and assist with marketing and promotional activities. The role requires an understanding of financial services and lending industry practices and the ability to implement marketing and business development strategies to achieve business objectives.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Research and analyse market opportunities for mortgage products and related financial services.
  • Develop and implement strategies to promote TBB Mortgage’s services and reach potential clients.
  • Provide guidance and recommendations to management on effective marketing and promotional approaches.
  • Coordinate and contribute to marketing campaigns, including preparation of materials, presentations, and online content.
  • Collect and analyse data on customer preferences and market trends to support business planning.
  • Support the development and execution of marketing objectives, policies, and initiatives to drive business growth.
  • Establish and maintain professional relationships with clients, partners, and related industry professionals, such as real estate agents, property lawyers, and other potential referral sources, to support client acquisition and business development.

 

Skills and Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in marketing, business, finance, economics, or a related field.
  • Minimum 1 year of work experience in financial services, mortgage lending, banking, or business development.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple client relationships and business development activities.
  • Understanding of financial products, lending processes, or mortgage services is preferred.
