If you're a skilled Heavy Diesel Mechanic who’s ready to step up, we’ve got a solid opportunity for you. You’ll be working on modern earthmoving and construction equipment, with the added bonus of mentoring an apprentice and being part of a crew that values professionalism, reliability, and team spirit.

What’s on offer: *Work on a range of well-maintained, modern gear *Train and mentor an apprentice – pass on your skills *Great team environment with solid support *Consistent hours: 47.5 hours/week *Occasional call-outs for extra variety

Hours: *Monday to Friday, 7:00am – 5:00pm (47.5 hours total) *Some call-outs when required *Based in Hornby

What you’ll need: *NZ Trade qualification as a Heavy Diesel Mechanic Level 4 OR 3 years+ NZ heavy diesel working experience *Strong experience with earthmoving and/or construction equipment *Great diagnostic and repair skills *Positive attitude and reliability *A focus on safety and high-quality workmanship *Willingness to guide and support an apprentice
