Gardener

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan garden layouts and choose the right plants and materials or as per client request 
• Get garden beds and growing areas ready for planting
• Plant and grow trees, flowers, bushes, hedges, and bulbs
• Getting lawn areas ready by adding topsoil, planting grass seeds, or laying ready-made turf
• Look after gardens and lawns by watering, mowing, weeding, trimming, and adding fertiliser
• Cut and shape trees and hedges using hand tools 
• Put up supports and covers to protect plants.
• Identifying plant diseases and pests, and applying appropriate treatments
• Mowing, trimming, pruning, and weeding to ensure a well-maintained garden and lawn. 
• Operating and maintaining gardening tools and equipment safely
• Following landscaping plans and ensuring high-quality garden maintenance
• Ensuring health and safety compliance in all gardening activities

Qualifications & Experience:

• Relevant Level 4 qualification OR at least 2 years of relevant work experience such as Gardener Assistant is required for the role. 
• Proven experience in opertaing Ride on Mower.
• Knowledge of plants, soils, fertilizers, and pest control methods is a requirement for this role.
• Basic Knowledge or Experience with garden tools, lawnmowers, and trimmers is expected. 
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or in a team
• Good physical fitness to handle outdoor tasks in different weather conditions
•  Must have A Valid Drivers Licence.
