Requirements:
2 years relevant experience or a level 4 or above relevant qualification
Must be flexible for work, able to work over the weekends and must cover our required shifts.
Long-term and full commitments are required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Research & Analysis: Conduct in-depth research and analysis of spatial, functional, efficiency, safety, and aesthetic requirements to develop tailored interior design solutions
- Space Planning: Analyse client requirements and optimize the layout of residential, commercial, and retail spaces to enhance functionality and efficiency
- Concept Development: Formulate comprehensive interior design concepts, including colour schemes, soft furnishings, furniture arrangements, and overall aesthetic direction
- Material and Product Selection: Provide professional recommendations for wall materials, flooring, cabinetry, bathroom fixtures, lighting, and décor to ensure a cohesive design
- Lighting Design: Develop lighting strategies that enhance spatial ambiance and functionality
- Custom Furniture Design: Create bespoke kitchen cabinets, wardrobes, and wine cabinets to meet client preferences and complement the overall interior aesthetic
- Electrical & Plumbing Coordination: Plan and coordinate electrical and plumbing points to align with functional and safety requirements
- Construction Coordination and Management: Collaborate with construction teams and suppliers to ensure accurate execution of design plans, in compliance with building codes and safety regulations
- Design Visualization: Utilize design software such as Coohom, 3DMax, SketchUp, Rhino, and Revit to produce 3D renderings, technical drawings, and construction documentation
- Site Supervision: Monitor project progress and ensure that construction adheres to design specifications
- Client & Stakeholder Communication: Maintain effective communication with clients, project managers, contractors, and suppliers to ensure seamless project execution
