Construction steel workers required for a large engineering/construction firm.

Working 5/6 days/week. Minimum 30 hours per week, maximum 55 hours/week  No trade qualifications required but must have at least 2 years relevant work experience.

Working at residential and commercial construction sites and industrial workshops.

The work is physically demanding and can be in hot, noisy conditions.

Overtime may be required to suit business and project needs.

8 positions.

Must be competent in the following.

  • Review and understand blueprint drawings.
  • Installation of structural steel components including accurate positioning and alignment.
  • Crane operations, MEWPs and other lifting equipment.
  • Cut metal components using various cutting processes and techniques.
  • Tack weld components.
  • Load and unload materials safely.
  • Assemble & disassemble temporary structures.
  • High strength bolting procedure and processes.
