With three branches across Auckland and our main warehouse located on Springs Road, East Tamaki, we are expanding our operations to meet increasing customer demand. To support this growth, we are seeking a skilled and experienced Forklift Driver to join our warehouse team.

About the Role

The Forklift Driver will play a key role in supporting warehouse operations by safely operating forklifts to move, stack, organize, and dispatch furniture products. The successful candidate will ensure efficient material handling, accurate inventory placement, and smooth daily workflow in a busy warehouse environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate double-deep forklifts and manage stock in high-rise racking systems.
  • Operate articulated forklifts safely and efficiently within narrow aisle environments.
  • Cross-load containers and B-train trucks, including handling tall pallets with high accuracy and precision.
  • Conduct inwards and outwards goods movement while maintaining safety and speed.
  • Use RF scanners for picking, putaway, cycle counting, and inventory tasks.
  • Work effectively within an ERP system to maintain real-time inventory accuracy.
  • Follow all warehouse H&S protocols and contribute to a clean, safe working environment.
  • Operate forklifts to load, unload, move, and stack furniture products within the warehouse and dispatch areas.
  • Conduct routine inspections to identify any wear, damage, or safety concerns.
  • Perform basic servicing, regular checks, and minor adjustments to forklifts.
  • Assist with general warehouse tasks, including manual handling and maintaining a clean and organized work environment.

Skills & Experience Required

  • Minimum 3 years of relevant forklift operating experience, ideally in a warehouse, manufacturing, or furniture distribution environment.
  • Valid Forklift Operator Certificate/licence.
  • Demonstrated experience operating double-deep and articulated forklifts.
  • Competent with RF scanning and ERP-based workflows
  • Ability to handle and crossload overheight or awkward loads with precision.
  • Strong understanding of forklift safety and warehouse operational procedures.
  • Ability to lift and manoeuvre large or bulky furniture items when required.
  • Strong understanding of warehouse operations, racking systems, and goods movement
  • Good communication skills and the ability to follow instructions accurately.
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Must be avaialable to work weekends
