About Us

SEA OF INK LTD is a growing tattoo studio based in Auckland, providing high-quality custom tattooing services and a professional, client-focused experience. As part of our development, the company is expanding into the retail and distribution of tattoo-related products and consumables, while continuing to strengthen our studio’s brand presence and customer base.

  • Research market trends, customer demographics, and competitor offerings within the tattoo and tattoo-supplies industry.
  • Identify opportunities to promote tattoo services and the new tattoo-consumables product line, including pricing, bundled promotions, customer loyalty strategies, and retail marketing.
  • Produce marketing materials such as posts, photos, short videos, product descriptions, basic graphic content, and promotional texts.
  • Liaise with tattoo artists, studio staff, and suppliers to coordinate promotions, service campaigns, and product launches.
  • Monitor campaign performance and provide regular reporting on engagement, conversions, and customer responses.
  • Assist with general brand development, customer-experience improvements, and cross-promotion between the service and product divisions of the company.

Skills & Experience Required

  • At least 2 years of relevant experience in a customer-facing sales, tattoo-related, or creative-industry role (e.g., tattoo studio experience, retail sales in a creative or personal-services environment, or experience working with tattoo products/services).
  • Understanding of the tattoo industry, tattoo culture, client behaviour, or tattoo-related products is essential for effective marketing in this niche sector.
  • Familiarity with social media platforms and basic content creation (e.g. photos, reels, captions).
  • Strong communication and customer-engagement skills.
  • Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and collaborate with creative professionals.
  • No formal qualification is required; practical experience and industry understanding are valued.
