Queen City Law seeks an experienced Legal Secretary to support our Managing Director and Directors in a fast-paced Auckland CBD practice. The role involves high-level administrative, client service, and office support across immigration, property, and real estate matters. Minimum three years’ legal office experience in a busy practice is essential. Strong communication, accuracy, and organisation skills are required. Mandarin and/or Malaysian language ability is preferred but not essential.

Queen City Law NZ Ltd is seeking a highly organised and professional Legal Secretary to join our team in the Auckland CBD. This full-time role supports our Managing Director, Directors, and wider team in a fast-paced legal environment.

We are looking for someone with strong communication skills, exceptional attention to detail, and proven experience working effectively in a busy legal practice.

Skills & Experience

Applicants must have:

  • A minimum of 3 years' legal office experience in a busy legal practice (essential).

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Excellent organisational skills, time management, and accuracy.

  • Confidence using MS Office and general office systems.

  • A professional manner and strong client service focus.

  • Speaking Mandarin and/or Malaysian is preferred but not essential.

Training will be provided for our internal systems and processes.

Hours and Location

  • 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday

  • Standard hours: 8:30am–5:30pm (with 1-hour lunch break)

  • Based at Level 8, 19 Victoria Street West, Auckland CBD
