Are you passionate about maintaining a safe and hygienic kitchen environment? Our company is seeking a dedicated individuals to join our team as a Commercial kitchen Technician/Operator . As a crucial member of our cleaning crew, you will play a vital role in ensuring the cleanliness and functionality of commercial kitchen ventilation systems.

 

Position:Commercial kitchen Technician/Operator 
Location: Greater Wellington Region
Job Type: Full Time-30 to 40 hours
Salary: $25 to $30 per hour

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform thorough cleaning of kitchen exhaust hoods, ducts, fans, and vents in accordance with industry standards and regulations.
• Conduct visual inspections to identify and report any issues or potential hazards in the kitchen exhaust systems.
• Maintain accurate records of cleaning schedules, inspections, and any necessary repairs or replacements.
• Adhere to safety protocols and regulations while working at various commercial kitchen locations. Utilize personal protective equipment (PPE) and follow established safety guidelines.
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with clients to address any specific requirements or concerns.

Requirements:

• Hold basic knowledge of safety protocols and guidelines related to cleaning.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently, demonstrating strong attention to detail.
• Physical fitness and ability to work in confined spaces and at heights.
• Excellent customer service orientation skills.

Important Requirement

• Willing to work night 11pm to early morning
• Willing to work on weekends and on public holidays
• If required willing to drive the company vehicle
• Willing to go through drug-check test
