General Welder role for a trucking business to work on everyday repairs and maintenance of the fleet. Location will be at our site yard on 354 Porchester Road, Takanini.

At least 6 months of NZ or overseas experience required. 

3 Positions available

·        Morning shift: 2 positions 7:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m., Monday to Saturday

·        Evening shift: 1 position 2:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m., Monday to Friday

The position is on a fixed weekly roster for both morning and evening shifts.

Applicants must have NZ or overseas equivalent to NZ class 4 or 5 full driver licence. The requirement for Class 4 and 5 truck licences is due to the nature of our business, as the role involves moving trucks in and out of the workshop areas within our yard. Additionally, as the position requires lifting and moving welding materials onto trucks and into storage areas using a forklift, a current forklift licence is essential.
