Levela Deconstruction:
In New Zealand 50% of landfill waste is as a result of construction and demolition trades. Levela Deconstruction aims to safely deconstruct to minimising material waste. Established in 2021, Levela specialises in the safe deconstruction of residential homes and commercial premises with an emphasis on reuse.

Foreperson:
We are looking for an individual that is a natural leader. Someone with a 'hands on' approach as you will be required to work alongside your team delivering projects. Someone who is proactive & confident in making the right decisions to get the project completed safely & on time. Someone who is able to comfortably delegate tasks to their peers/subcontractors on site. Great communication is important; The ability to express oneself in a professional yet personable manner while representing the business with integrity is key to success.
What you will need to succeed:
- A proven track record leading a team (a certificate in supervising workers will help)
- 5+ Years in the construction industry
- Reliable, Hardworking and Adaptable
- Demolition/Deconstruction experience (preferred but is not essential for this role)
- Complete understanding of how to deliver projects from plans provided
- Your own power tools
- Class 1 License (Full)
- CLEAN criminal record
- Able to pass a pre-employment drug test
- Contactable previous employer references
- Rights to work in New Zealand
- 40 Hours per week, minimum
