Full time permanent Scaffolder is required for our company. The minimum work will be 30 hours pw and maximum will be 40 hours pw. The minimum wage is $30.00 ph and maximum wages will be $38.00 ph based on experience. Candidates should pass a background check and be physically fit and able to heavy lifting. New Zealand citizen or resident is preferable, please mention if you are a NZ resident or citizen.

Responsibilities

  • Talk with clients’ instruction and discuss their needs and requirements.
  • Calculate loadings and design a suitable scaffold structure for each situation.
  • Attaching slinging gear to hoisting equipment and objects to be moved using clamps, hooks, bolts and knots
  • order and co-ordinate transport of scaffolding components
  • Fitting and bolting tubes, support braces and components to form bases and build up scaffolding.
  • Erection of scaffolding of various types, establishing platforms and safety measures lifting and positioning sections of scaffolding
  • Identify hazards, defects and the need for adjustment or repair; to ensure compliance with agreed codes, law, working practices and health and safety
  • Regularly inspect scaffolding for safety and make alterations and repairs as needed
  • Check and maintain scaffolding equipment.
  • Determining job requirements and planning/configuring scaffolding setting up winches and rigging equipment to raise and position girders, plates, columns and other steel units.
  • How to erect and disassemble scaffolding
  • Load and unload scaffolding from trucks

SKILLS REQUIRED:

  •        Two years relevant experience.
