Excavator Operator – Permanent Full-Time 

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Excavator Operator to join our team in Wellington. This is a permanent, full-time role (min 40 hours per week) offering an hourly rate of $30–$35, depending on skills and experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operating excavators safely and efficiently in a range of civil construction and earthmoving projects

  • Carrying out daily pre-start checks and basic maintenance on machinery

  • Following health and safety procedures and site requirements at all times

  • Working collaboratively with team members to deliver projects on schedule and to a high standard

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years’ relevant, verifiable work experience 

  • Strong understanding of health and safety practices in construction/earthworks environments

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Reliability, attention to detail, and a strong work ethic
