Role Summary:
Reading bluprints, constructing, installing, repairing, and maintaining wooden and other structures. Perform tasks such as preparing materials, operating tools, and ensuring site cleanliness and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Carpentry Work:
• Reading blueprints, constructing and assembling frameworks, steps, and other wood-based structures.
• Prepare and install doors, windows, and wooden fittings.
2. Material Handling:
• Collect, load, and transport timber, and step materials to work areas.
• Measure, cut, and prepare materials for use.
3. Tool and Equipment Usage:
• Operate and maintain basic hand and power tools.
• Ensure tools are properly stored and ready for use.
4. Site Preparation and Clean-Up:
• Set up work areas by arranging tools, and equipment.
• Clean and maintain job sites, removing debris and ensuring safety compliance.

- No formal qualifications required, any relevant certificate will be a bonus
- At least 2 years on-the-job training or relevant vocational experience(New Zealand or Australian experience) in construction or carpentry is a must.
- Familiarity with blueprints and technical drawings.
- Work well in a team as well as individually
- Be well-organized and able to multitask
- Be physically fit, able to lift 25kg timber pieces consistently throughout the week
- Full class 1 NZ Driver’s License
