We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Ship Master to join our maritime operations team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe, efficient, and compliant operation of our vessel, ensuring all voyages meet regulatory, safety, and operational requirements.

This is a full-time position.

Key Responsibilities

  • Command and overall responsibility for vessel operations, safety, and crew management

  • Navigate and operate the vessel in accordance with maritime laws, company procedures, and international regulations

  • Ensure strict compliance with all health, safety, and environmental policies

  • Oversee voyage planning, cargo operations, and navigational watchkeeping

  • Conduct regular drills, safety briefings, and crew training

  • Maintain vessel documentation, logs, and reporting requirements

  • Communicate effectively with port authorities, company management, and operational teams

  • Lead the crew to ensure smooth daily operations and high professional standards

Requirements

  • Proven experience as Ship Master/Captain on commercial or industrial vessels

  • Relevant and valid maritime qualifications, such as:

    • Master <500GT / Master Unlimited, or equivalent recognised maritime certificate

    • STCW-compliant certificates and endorsements

  • Strong knowledge of maritime legislation, vessel operations, and safety management systems

  • Excellent leadership and communication skills

  • Ability to make sound decisions under pressure

  • High level of professionalism, integrity, and responsibility

  • Medically fit and able to meet all maritime health and fitness standards
