Haiyue Limited, trading as Yumny Dumplings, is a fast-growing manufacturer specialising in high-quality frozen food products. We are committed to delivering authentic flavours, consistent quality, and innovative food solutions to both retail and commercial clients. As our production expands, we are seeking a skilled Food Technologist to join our team.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and improve frozen food products, ensuring quality, consistency, and safety.
• Monitor ingredient performance, product shelf life, and production process efficiency.
• Conduct product trials and document results, making recommendations for optimisation.
• Ensure compliance with New Zealand food safety standards, HACCP requirements, and company policies.
• Work closely with production teams on scaling up recipes and improving manufacturing processes.
• Assist with quality control systems, product specification sheets, and labelling compliance.
• Investigate and resolve technical issues related to ingredients, equipment, or product performance.


Required Qualifications and Experience

Applicants must meet one of the following:

Option 1 – Academic Requirement

• A Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Food Technology, or a closely related field.

Option 2 – Experience Requirement

At least 5 years of relevant full-time experience in food manufacturing, food technology, product development, quality assurance, or related areas.

• Knowledge of food safety standards, regulatory compliance, and quality systems.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively with production and quality teams.
