🚢 First Engineer – Vessel | Full-Time | Canterbury

We are seeking a skilled First Engineer to support our Chief Engineer in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of all vessel machinery and technical systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Chief Engineer in managing and maintaining engines, machinery, and technical systems

  • Supervise engineering crew and support daily technical operations

  • Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs

  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company procedures

  • Maintain accurate engineering logs and reports

Requirements:

  • Valid First Engineer / Marine Engineer certification (STCW compliant)

  • Proven experience in an engineering role on commercial vessels

  • Strong knowledge of marine engines, electrical systems, and mechanical equipment
