Bhullar N Sons Limited, a provider of professional landscaping and property maintenance services, is currently looking for Gardener Assistants to join their team in the Auckland region. The role involves supporting gardening and outdoor maintenance duties, ensuring that residential and commercial properties are well-maintained and presentable.

The role involves travel within the Auckland region, and all fuel and travel expenses will be covered by the employer.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in daily gardening operations, including loading and unloading materials and supplies. 

• Support the gardener in planting trees, flowers, shrubs, and maintaining landscaping projects.

• Perform routine site maintenance such as watering, weeding, mowing, and pruning.

• Keep garden and work areas clean, tidy, and free from waste and debris.

• Operate gardening tools and machinery safely and efficiently.

• Carry out minor maintenance of tools and equipment as required.

• Follow schedules to ensure tasks are completed on time and to a high standard.

• Communicate professionally with team members and clients when needed.

• Work both independently and as part of a team in a safe and productive manner.

• Demonstrate a respectful, positive attitude and a willingness to support your colleagues.

Work Hours and Benefits

• Required to work for a minimum of 30 hours per week.

• Paid between $25 to $30 per hour.

Other Requirements:

• Willingness to work on weekends and early morning shifts as needed 
• Physically fit and capable of performing outdoor and manual tasks
• Must hold a valid driver’s license
• Prior work experience is not mandatory as we provide full training.  
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work effectively as part of a team
