A well-established company Z FOUR LIMITED  is now enlarging its team to cope with the fast development. We are looking for Curtain Sewing Machinists.

●        Location: AUCKLAND

●        Job type: Full-time Permanent

●        Number of positions for this job: up to 5

●        Pay rate: from $27-$35 per hour

●        Days required: 5-6 days/week

●        Hours per week: min 30, max 50 hours per week

Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

·            Deciding on appropriate sewing techniques before work commences.

·            Meeting with consumers and inspecting patterns to determine each job's requirements.

·            Cutting, sewing, and gluing curtain fabric according to the requirements

·            Use of industrial ironing machine, straight stitch machines & hemming machines

·            Interpret & follow work instructions

·            Operating the foot pedal, plus the stitch length and width regulators, as you sew.

·            Replacing the sewing machine's needle, as required.

·            Detecting and repairing basic faults with the sewing machine as they occur.

·            Packing of products

·            Daily cleaning of work area

 

Job Requirement

●         At least two-years relevant prior experience or substitute with a formal qualification

●         A “can-do” attitude

●         Have an eye on details

●         Self-motivated

●         Clean non-criminal record
