As the company continues to scale its operations and strengthen its management infrastructure, it is seeking an experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to support its next phase of sustainable growth.
Job Summary
The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) will be a key member of the executive leadership team,
responsible for the overall financial strategy, financial operations, and risk management of
the company. The role goes beyond traditional financial stewardship and plays a strategic
role in supporting business expansion, operational optimization, and long-term value
creation.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the company’s overall financial strategy in alignment with corporate and business objectives;
- Oversee all financial functions, including accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, tax planning, and cash flow management;
- Design, implement, and continuously improve financial systems, internal controls, and
risk management frameworks suited to a logistics and supply-chain business; - Provide financial analysis and decision support to core business operations, including air freight, sea freight, warehousing, customs clearance, and domestic distribution;
- Optimize cost structures, pricing models, and capital allocation to enhance profitability and operational efficiency;
- Manage relationships with external stakeholders, including banks, auditors, tax
authorities, and other financial partners; - Support capital planning activities, including financing, capital structure optimization,
M&A, or strategic partnerships when required; - Build, lead, and develop a high-performing finance team with strong business acumen;
- Ensure full compliance with New Zealand financial, tax, and corporate governance
regulations, as well as relevant international requirements.
Job requirement: applicant must meet following requirement to apply for this job
- Bachelor’s degree or above in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field;
- Minimum of 10 years of relevant financial experience, including at least 5 years in a
senior financial leadership role ; - Strong expertise in financial management, budgeting, cash flow control, and risk
management; - Strategic mindset with the ability to integrate financial leadership with business growth
objectives; - Solid understanding of New Zealand financial, tax, and regulatory frameworks;
international business exposure is a plus; - Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work
closely with the Board, executive team, and external partners; - Fluency in English is required; proficiency in Mandarin or Cantonese is an advantage;
