TS&SONS LIMITED  is a family owned and operated road freight tansport business sub-contracted to MainFreight .
We are looking for 2 professional truck drivers to join our team based in Christchurch.
Current role is for Permanent full time floating and you will drive one of our well maintained fleet.
PAY BENEFITS
$32-34$ an hour ( Depend on Experience and can negotiate to be based on salary)
Minimum 40 hours Guaranteed.
Duties :
Delivery of Freight to meet daily requirements.
Must have good knowledge in reversing Truck and trailer.
Pre/post-inspect truck daily and make notes of damages and let employer know about anything need to fixed or repaired.
Physically fit and able to lift things.
Must be able to drive forklift .
Compliance to logbook and sent all employer's sheet every week.
Must be able to stay away few nights to meet the delivery requirements.
Send All Delivery dockets and POD's to company at end of day.
Clean the cab inside and wash truck often to keep it clean and tidy.
No smoking or alcohol consumption inside the cab.
Meet To Requirements :
Must have Clean Class 5 NZ license or relevant overseas license to drive a class 5 Truck and trailer and should be able to convert.
Must have DG license ( If not, must be able to get one).
Must have OSH certificate ( If not, must be able to get one).
Be medical fit and Healthy.
As you will be face representative of our company you must have a good communication skills in English to speak, write and communicate with our daily customers and despatcher.
Must be able to pass Pre-Employment and Drugs test.
New Zealand road experience of  1 year , If you donot hold experience and still think you are a good fit to this role, you Need to go through a driving assessment test on your cost.
NOTE: Smoking is not allowed at all in trucks , DONOT APPLY if you cannot comply with it.
