Position Responsibilities:

  • -  Set up workstations with all needed ingredients and cooking equipment

  • -  Check quality of ingredients

  • -  Measure and assemble ingredients for menu items

  • -  Collaborate with other chefs to prepare authentic Chinese cuisines during

    dining hour

  • -  Maintain accurate food inventories and place orders when there are

    shortages

  • -  Properly store food items at appropriate temperatures

  • -  Ensure great presentation by dressing dishes before they are served

  • -  Rotate stock items as per established procedures

  • -  Restock kitchen for subsequent shifts

  • -  Ensure that the food prep area and kitchen are cleaned and sanitized at

    the end of your shift

    Requirements:

    Ø  To thrive in this position, candidates should possess the following qualifications and attributes:

    Ø  Prior experience in a similar role is advantageous but not mandatory, we can provide training.

    Ø  A genuine passion for food coupled with a willingness to learn.

    Ø  Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions.

    Ø  Physical stamina and adaptability to a fast-paced environment.

    Ø  Dedication to upholding a clean and safe workspace.

    Availability to work during evenings and sometimes on weekends.

    Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices is a valuable asset.
