Student Services Administrator

Employment Type: Full-time
Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, between 8:00 am and 4:30pm
Location: LSNZ Queenstown – Remarkables Park
Reports to: General Manager / Director 

 

The Student Services Administrator supports the delivery of a high-quality student experience from admission through to course completion. The role provides administrative and customer service support within a multicultural education environment, ensuring accurate processes, effective communication and a welcoming campus experience for international students.


Key Responsibilities

Student Services & Admissions

  • Process student applications, enrolments and enquiries through internal systems and email.

  • Issue enrolment documentation accurately and promptly.

  • Maintain up-to-date and accurate student and agent records.

  • Communicate professionally with students and education agents regarding enrolments, bookings and general enquiries.

  • Support amendments, confirmations and administrative changes related to student bookings.

Accommodation & Homestay Coordination

  • Provide administrative coordination of student accommodation and homestay arrangements.

  • Support placement processes, arrivals, departures and accommodation changes.

  • Communicate with students and host families regarding accommodation matters.

  • Update internal systems and records relating to accommodation and homestay.

Administrative & Financial Support

  • Provide administrative support to finance processes in liaison with the Finance team.

  • Assist with preparing invoices, tracking payments and organising financial documentation.

  • Maintain organised electronic records and filing systems.

Reception & General Duties

  • Manage front desk reception, phone calls and email enquiries.

  • Ensure reception and common areas are tidy, professional and welcoming.

  • Open the school each morning and ensure facilities are ready for daily operations.

  • Escalate complex or sensitive matters to senior staff when required.

Compliance & Student Wellbeing

  • Support pastoral care processes and student wellbeing.

  • Ensure work practices align with the Code of Practice for the Pastoral Care of International Students.

  • Maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times.

Additional pre-requisites
The role requires:

  • A full New Zealand driver's licence, and

  • A pre-employment drug test.
