As a Territory Sales Manager, you will be on the road and driving sales within your assigned territory. You will own your territory, developing customer relationships, identifying new opportunities, and ensuring the brands we represent are visible, accessible, and growing. Hours of Work: Minimum 30 hours per week, rostered across weekdays, weekends,
and public holidays
Pay Rate: $63,500–$68,600 per annum (depending on experience)
Key Responsibilities
Visit and service existing customers on a structured route plan, ensuring regular engagement and account growth.
Prospect and onboard new customers across your assigned territory.
Promote and sell portfolio of products — from beverages and snacks to everyday grocery essentials.
Build strong relationships with store owners, managers, and key decision-makers.
Present new products and promotions, ensuring our displays, pricing, and merchandising standards are met.
Collaborate closely with the marketing and procurement teams on campaigns, product launches, and in-store activations.
Achieve monthly, quarterly & yearly sales targets and KPIs.
Maintain accurate records of customer visits, sales, and feedback using our CRM (Odoo).
Provide feedback on competitor activity, market trends, and customer insights to help shape strategy.
Skills and Experience
2+ years of experience in FMCG or field sales (preferred but not essential).
At least three years of relevant work experience, or
- A Level 7 qualification (e.g. Bachelor’s Degree, Graduate Diploma, or Graduate Certificate) in Sales, Marketing, or Business
Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.A self-starter with high energy, discipline, and a passion for winning.
Ability to confidently talk about and demonstrate products.
Results-driven mindset with ownership over outcomes.
Competent in using digital tools (CRM, email, Excel, and mobile sales apps).
A full, clean driver’s licence eligible to drive in New Zealand.
