Hauraki Civil Limited is looking for a site coordinator to join our team in Auckland. You wil work for 30-40 hours per week, with an hourly rate of $29 to $34, subject to your skills and experience.
Tasks
- Coordinate daily on-site construction activities to ensure works are properly sequenced and delivered in accordance with the approved project program.
- Work closely with Construction Managers, Surveyors, and site teams to coordinate schedules, labor, materials, and resources, ensuring clear communication and timely execution of works.
- Plan and coordinate work programs to optimize the use of labor, materials, and equipment while minimizing downtime and site disruption.
- Monitor site progress against construction schedules and coordinate adjustments as required to maintain productivity and achieve project milestones.
- Support site planning and decision-making through calculations, measurements, and preliminary data analysis.
- Coordinate the preparation, distribution, and maintenance of progress reports, site records, and project documentation, and facilitate coordination meetings and daily site briefings.
- Coordinate compliance with legal obligations and Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) requirements across all site activities.
- Identify coordination conflicts, clashes, or potential delays and work proactively with stakeholders to resolve issues.
- Respond to enquiries and coordinate the resolution of issues relating to contracts, schedules, project delivery, and stakeholder impacts.
- Provide regular updates and advice to management on site coordination matters requiring attention.
Requirement
- A qualification at Diploma level or higher
- relevant work experience is preferred
- Strong communication skills and problem-solving skills
- Flexibility to work during weekends if required
- No criminal record, hardworking, reliable and a strong team player
