MKBuilder20 Limited is seeking reliable and experienced carpenters to join its construction team. The role involves a mix of new build, renovation, repair, and maintenance carpentry work across residential and light commercial projects.

 

Position: Carpenter

Location: Work at various sites within Auckland and occasionally in other regions of New Zealand

Employment type: Full-time, permanent, Monday to Saturday

Pay rate: $25-$35 per hour (before tax), depending on experience

Hours: Minimum 30 hours and Maximum 55 hours per week

Key Duties:

  • Carrying out general carpentry and building work, including repairs, renovations, decks, flooring, and framing
  • Reading and interpreting plans and drawings
  • Installing and repairing timber structures, fixtures, windows, and doors
  • The primary place of work is Auckland. On rare occasions, and only where required by specific projects, you may be asked to work at other locations within New Zealand. Any such work will be subject to reasonable notice and appropriate arrangements.

Skills and experience required:

  • Minimum 2 years’ relevant carpentry experience
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Good understanding of safe work practices
