BZ Electrical Limited is established in December 2019 and based in Auckland. We provide electrical services across residential and light commercial projects.

Due to ongoing business growth, we are seeking a Site Foreman to join our team. The minimum rate of salary is NZD51.00 Per Hour and the maximum rate of salary is NZD 55.00. The minimum guaranteed hours of work is 30 hours per week. The location is within Auckland region.

The successful candidate will be responsible for, but not limited to the following duties:

1.Install, test, connect, commission, maintain and repair electrical equipment, wiring and control systems.

2. Supervise on-site electrical works and coordinate daily constructions activities 

3.Supervise onsite electrical works and coordinate daily construction activities 

4. Ensure all electrical work complies with New Zealand electrical standards, building codes and health and safety requirements.

5.Interpret electrical drawings, specifications and technical documents 

6.Organise and conduct electrical testing, inspections and commissioning activities 

7.Maintain accurate site documentation, including compliance certificates, inspection records and reports

8.Coordinate subcontractors, labour allocation, materials and equipment on site 

9. Identify and reslove on-site technical issues and safety risks

10.Monitor project progress and assist with scheduling and planning 

11.Ensure strict adherence to workplace health and safety procedures including lock-out/tag-out practices 

12.Communicate effectively with clients, project managers and team members 

13. Support training, supervision and performance of junior staff where required 

Skills and Experience required 

  1. at least 2 years of relevant electrical work experience,preferably include site supervision or senior technician duties 
  2. Good and organisational and problem-solving skills 
  3. Ability to work independently and as part of a team 
  4. Good communication skills
