The company specialized in surveying, land development engineering, public drainage and drive way design, geotechnical investigation and resource management consultation. The company is anticipating a growth in market needs and are prepare to recruit two civil engineer technicians to ease with the current work load. This is a permanent position, 37.5 hours of full time weekly work commitment fulfilling work life balance and a competitive salary of $61,000.00 or above depending on experience.

Successful candidate will hopefully possess the following attributes:

-        Relevant qualification or proven 2 years or more work experiences in civil draftman position, spatial science, geo-technical, surveying, civil or environmental engineering etc

-          Effective communication skills

-          Attention to detail

-          Team player

-          Passionate about spatial design, civil engineering and capability of operating CAD based software

-          Multilingual is also preferred but not necessary

Duties and Responsibilities

  • preparing sketches, charts, tabulations, plans and designs for civil engineering works such as drainage, water supply, sewerage reticulation systems, roads and other structures
  • interpreting work assignment instructions, applying appropriate procedures and selecting equipment
  • collecting and analyzing data, and carrying out computations
  • storm water catchment analysis and storm water pipe capacity calculation
  • perform civil engineering related work inspection and supervision
  • assist to prepare paperwork for registered professional Surveyor for certification
  • Built drive way and public drainage survey and plan preparation
