Breeze Construction Ltd is an Auckland-based construction company with nearly 6 years of solid industry experience. Due to ongoing project growth, we are now seeking an experienced Carpenter to join our professional and motivated team.

Job Description: 

About the role

This is a full-time, long-term position working across a range of residential and commercial projects in Auckland.

Key Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

• To study drawings and specifications to decide what materials to be used and relevant installation procedures

• To cut materials with chainsaw, assembling and nailing cut and shaped parts with tools such as drills

• To repair exiting wood planks with chainsaw and electric planner

• To establish the framework of structures

• To erect framework and roof framing, lay floorboard and check the trueness of structures

• To nail fascia panels, sheathing roofs and ceiling batten, fitting exterior wall cladding and door and window frames

• To assemble prepared wood to form structures and fittings ready to install

• To cut wood joints with tools such as chainsaw

• May construct concrete formwork

• May work with plastic laminates, Perspex and metals

• Other duties may be reasonably required by the business owner or director

About You

• At least 2 years relevant working experience with verified evidence

• Relevant qualifications are preferable but not a must

• Physical fitness and could handle the heavy workload

• Quality workmanship and eye for detail

• Strong dedication to health and workplace safety。

• Excellent interpersonal skills to work with other team members.

• Strong ability to work independently
