We are seeking experienced Pastry Chefs to join our team

Key Responsibilities:

Good skill of making Croissants with Danish machine

Preparing and baking bread doughs from scratch

Baking European-style breads, cakes, slices, rolls, Danish bread, filled breads etc.

Preparing pastry fillings, glazing pastries, and decorating cakes

Producing quality goods with consistency, minimizing wastage

Confidence with Food Safety and Health and Safety Standards

Maintaining efficiency in daily production schedule set out by the manager

Cleaning and greasing baking trays and other cooking equipment

Requirements:

Minimum of 2 years of proven professional experience as a pastry chef

Knowledge of all basic methods needed for pastries and cakes

Know how to make European-style bread and Danish bread

Must be a team player, reliable and hard-working person

Maintaining a high degree of organization and control

Flexibility to work on weekends and roster shifts

Knowledge of Food Safety and Health and Safety guidelines in NZ

 

This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about pastry chef and takes pride in your work and you care about your products! We are looking for someone who knows what great looks like and makes the products look fantastic. You will be working at our bakery in Auckland.

 

It is a full-time role with hourly rate between $25 - $35
